Communication between applications on the same network

Uncategorized
Question: I currently have an application (let's call it app1) which is written in .NET using WPF, the role of this application is to control an external hardware. And there would be a 2nd application that will request with arguments to app1 to do an operation with the external hardware. After finishing the operation app1 will then send back a result response back to 2nd application with arguments. So it will be in a async communication Problem is that the 2nd application can be written in any language and can be in the same computer or on a seperate conputer and can be a different platform, but must be on the same network. I would like to try and use a SOAP protocol since it's platform independent. I have also…

Python : printing lines of factorial “*” through recursion

Uncategorized
Question: I have implemented a function to calculate the factorial from 1 to n(where n is the user input) by making a list, using recursion. And I want to print a line of k factorial stars for each integer k in range of 1 to n by defining a new function that calls itself recursively inside the main function. The output should be as follows if n=3:* ** ****** Here is my code so far to calculate the factorial using recursion:#Ask the user to input a positive integer n n=int(input("Enter positive integer: ")) #Defining a function to calculate the factorial of a input number def factorialN(n): #Defining the base case if n==1: #If it satisfy the base condition return a list containing 1 return [1] #Calling the function factorialN() recursively…

How to prove Θ(g(n)) = O(g(n)) ∩ Ω(g(n))

Uncategorized
Question: I came across this statement ,as per my understanding Theta lies between Big O and Omega but I am unable to understand why intersection comes here . Can I get a Mathematical as well as analytical understanding for Θ(g(n)) = O(g(n)) ∩ Ω(g(n)) Answer: Θ(g(n)) means that the function is bound both above and below by g(n). Mathematically, if a function f(n) is Θ(g(n)), then 0 ≤ c1.g(n) ≤ f(n) ≤ c2.g(n) for all n greater than some constant k Now, O(g(n)) is upper bound on g(n), so a function that is O(g(n)) is upper bounded by g(n). Ω(g(n)) is lower bound on g(n), so a function that's Ω(g(n)) is lower bound by g(n). O(g(n)) ∩ Ω(g(n)) is representative of a function sandwiched between g(n) from both above and…
